Day 20 - Man Made

For day 20 of 30 days of may, we were given the word manmade. For this word, I wanted to contrast man made objects with natural forms, therefore I decided to take photos of electricity pylons. Fortunately, I was able to get close to the pylons, so I could zoom into different sections of the man made structure that I thought looked most interesting. I took photos where the light shone onto the pylon, and the blue sky contrasted well with the metal structure. I also took photos in the direction of the sunlight, so the sun reflected onto the pylon, creating a shadow effect that I thought looked really interesting. Around the pylon, there were trees, and I love the juxtaposition of the natural structures vs the man made objects. This idea was completely my own, however I did search on pinterest for some shot type inspiration before I went on my shoot. I think that the outcome of my images were successful.
