Day 19 - Natural Forms

For todays word "natural forms", I wanted to photograph blossom and flowers specifically, as I loved the bright colours and interesting textures that you are able to see within the images. I shot at different angles, from an upwards perspective and at an eye view level. I think that the outcomes of these photos unedited were successful, however I wanted to emphasise the beauty and colours of the blossom trees, so I turned up the saturation slightly to make the images further stand out. I'm really happy with the outcome of these images, as they show different compositional techniques such as depth of field and rule of thirds, and are also eye-catching to the viewer. I was able to find an artist that took similar photos to what I envisioned mine to look like: she is called Barbara Rathmanner. She takes beautiful still life images, and loves to explore the theme of natural forms.
