Day 7 - Food

The last topic for this week was 'Food', so I decided to take photos of american style pancakes. I found inspiration from pinterest, and I wanted to recreate the images. In my house, I set up a mini studio using A1 white card as the background. For lighting, I used phone torches, which helped to focus my camera on the pancakes. I experimented using different angles, zoomed in on some photos so that there was a depth of field, and zoomed out on others to make each shot different and unique. I really like the outcome of this shoot. If I were to do things differently next time, I might experiment using different coloured backgrounds, as I think a black background would have been really effective.
